It is a Macaw. It appears to be the Scarlet Macaw according to " A Guide to the Birds of Costa Rica"
Coloration varies...but it seems to have all the components and description of the Scarlet Macaw. Nice photo.

I don't see a single scarlet feather. It is definitely a Blue and Gold Macaw.
