Seems to be good overall.
Where are they moving from?

Las I looked, and it has been a while that I had a RRS sized budget, they were in Los Osos (Central Coast) CA. Moving away from CA is a generally smart move.

I’ve only owned RRS camera plates and L plates on my last 3 cameras. Top quality stuff.

Their lever release clamps are great for quick changing different heads.

It doesn't get any better than RRS. Outstanding quality.

I've bought products from them over the past half dozen years, and have always been fully satisfied, though as previously stated not inexpensive.

I don't have any RRS products but I used their Arca-Swiss dovetail design when I made an Arca-Swiss plate in a machine shop. This is the standard that most companies use. They have this print on their website so that any manufacturer could produce Arca-Swiss dovetails that are compatible with theirs.

Really good products. I started using it based on Joel Sartore's recommendations in his Gat Geo photo courses. Of course, he makes money for endorsements but in this case he's right it's top quality gear particularly the L brackets and monopod heads.

I know nothing of their benefit packages, hours, work environment, management philosophy, vacations, required SKILL SET, pay scale or any other important pre-hiring information. I would prepare a list of questions to ask during a potential interview.

I own a couple of their ball heads as well as L-brackets. Never had a moments regret for any of these purchases. Gear is top shelf quality.

As said excellent but expensive. The Chinese and Koreans etc have
been making recently photo and video gear that is priced really well.
They are cleaning up your gear pickups and taking over.

Now buying flashes or Rokinon lens clamps and gear is so much more reasonable.
We will see how long some of our great suppliers hold up. Think I bought from
these people cant remember details.

Good luck.
