Just curious, anyone on here use Really Right Stuff photography products? They are moving their manufacturing to just a few miles from me and I am looking at applying for a job they have that perfectly fits my skills.

I have been totally satisfied with my ten or so purchases. Excellent quality that I don't mind paying for.

I don't, they are excellant but expensive. Many professional landscape photogs use RRS if you look at youtube. Type in really right stuff and you will see; tripods, ball heads, L brackets, etc.

IMHO, RRS makes the ABSOLUTE BEST gear on this planet. Perfect, well made, well engineered, well thought, influenced by what photographers, of all types, need. But once and done. How they are to work for, from what I have seen from my phone calls, I'd work for them in a New York Second. Please let us know how it goes if you do get a job there. AFAIK, they are completely moved to their new facility. Best of luck.

The moved from CA, they said they couldn't handle being taxed and regulated to death so they moved out. Seems like a lot of companies are moving out of CA, Texas is really benefiting along with Utah, Idaho and some others.

Thanks, yes they have moved, but I guess they still have a couple things to button up. Right now my commute is about 40 miles each way, this would only be 5 miles so I am hoping for the best :)

Personally, I think their products are the best on the market. Pricey, but worth it. Superior build quality, superb long term durability, great customer support.
