No mention of IBIS. Seems to be a tweek on the A6000 / A6300 instead of the A6500 with some focusing and video enhancements.

An email announcement said one a6400 kit will be with the 18-135 mm, 3.5-5.6 fstop lens for $1300. If I got it right that lens costs nearly $600 at B&H. Is there more than one 18-135?

No. Sony has just one E 18-135. It is a 'regular' Sony lens. Some reviews put it neck and neck with the 18-105 G lens which is around the same price. The 18-105 G has been my favorite lens for all round use, but the 18-135 is lighter, more compact and longer reach. The 18-105 G is constant F4.0 where as the 18-135 is variable.
$1300 sounds like a good deal.
