Your composition skill provides the foundation of your pier photographs. Effective composition automatically attracts the eye. The exposures look cooked yet you have tamed and channelled this approach to overcome its excess for an artful result. Some might call this result impressionism. While the subject (ocean piers) remains hackneyed, you have given this subject a new life via something akin to cohesiveness of expression paired with coloration exciting to the eye. Few attain art with photography. You have done it. I sense your audience wants to see more. Nice work.
