Go you one better--I was to receive a package by FEDEX, and it was delivered to Walnut Ave, and I live on Walnut Street (clear across town and my house number does not exist on Avenue)! Contacted FedEx and told them that upon doing a tracking that the package had been delivered, I asked them where was it delivered, because it was NOT delivered to the address on the package. They came back and asked for a description of my house, which I provided. They then came back and instructed me to contact the shipper! Luckily for me and the shipper, the person that did get the package contacted me (and I don't know how he got my cell phone number), and I got my package by going and getting it myself!

I have a problem Fedex driver and situation like yours, only mine is address number same as mine, street name close but not the same, both start with a T, couple miles down the highway, last name same first letter! He is getting better, but slowly!!!!!!!!! I usually catch the error before he leaves, or sometimes I just drop it off at the other address, and they do the same if my stuff goes to their house, when left at the gate.
Last year FedEx lost my camera that was repaired by Canon. It was replaced with a new one which was great for me.
The other day they left a package by my door, it was damaged, the contents were leaking, and a yellow lable was placed by them indicating it was damaged. Luckily the seller replaced the item.
My Jerry it is because of all the things you buy from e-bay and amazon and whatever others, that the Fed -Ex guy is just assuming that it is for you....lol
Could it be a GPS malfunction? Go a few miles away, type in your neighbor's address, see if it takes you to your house.
