PIE is awesome for finding out details in the EXIF data you never needed to know. It shows just about everything. If you're not sure what lens you used for a particular photo, it'll tell you.
The only problem with IrfanView is that it's windows only. Other than that, it's really useful. I've been using it for more than 20 years now.
Just tried PIE. It gives results that look about as complete as Jeffrey's EXIF viewer
but the UI might be a bit better.
