Drove to Costco this AM. I needed razor blades. I bought hearing aid batteries. After arriving home I realized I had 4 months of batteries and still needed razor blades. Well - they both have to do with my head. That's close enough, right? I guess I'll have the smoothest ears in the world.

Have a good day. Mine is already good.

I frequently have to retrace my steps to remember why I went into a room. It works about 50% of the time. I still remember that there was something I was supposed to remember.

write it down before you go...or use your cell phone's notes app. Works for me if it's more than 1 item...otherwise I have to remember why I'm in the car going somewhere.

Hey, you do well!! What's even more interesting is, as I was paying for the the batteries, I had this pervasive feeling that there was another item I needed. I decided not to the get the oranges and left with the batteries. My wife just arrived home from a Dr. appointment. She said, "You have razor blades". She's right, I forgot. Still don't have oranges.

If I wrote it down I would not have funny anecdotes to share with others. You sound just like my wife!

There comes a time when Happiness is walking into a room and remembering why you went there.

All manifestations of the "hereafter" syndrome. I'm here, what am I after? Happens all the time....

If you wrote it down, like I do occasionally , it ends up being a waste of paper as I tend to forget that I wrote it and dont take it with my anyways.

Go back to the straight razor. No problem anymore.

With my shaky right hand and straight razor (slight Parkinson's), I'd commit partial or full surgery on my nose and ears.
Thanks,
Mark

I also have problems remembering what I went into a room for. I am a firm believer that door thresholds cause the problem.
