David Busch's books are outstanding. I have one on my Nikon and one on my Sony and both are very well done. After reading I find myself referring to them often.

I like Darrell Young's books - I have D7100 & D810.

From "snapshots to greatshots" I can vouch for, easy to understand and show lot's of photo's. Don't know about the rest.

Not a book, but an excellent reference: John Greengo at Creative Live does an excellent in-depth descriptions of the Nikon D7100/D7200. $21 for 16 lessons: https://www.creativelive.com/class/nikon-d7100-dslr-fast-start-john-greengo?via=site-header_0

Hi you answered a question I had of which book is best for learning to use the nikon d7200. Did you decide which of the two books you think is best. You don't need to send me one as stated! I would just value your opinion. (Or should I just get both of them?) This is regarding a post from back in January. Thanks so much, Robyn Rocke

What is the best book for help learning the Nikon d7200? A few I know of are Nikon d7200 For Dummies, Mastering the d7200 by Darrel Young, Nikon d7200 Guide to digital SLR photogaghy by David Bush, Nikon d7200: From snapshots to great shots.

Here's my favorite. Even has an 18% gray card fold out on the inside of the front cover and a white balance foldout on the inside of the back cover. It's smaller than the Busch books, so it takes up less space in my kit.

A member here, check out Bryan Petersen's books, or those of Thom Hogan.

What's his user name. Using Bryan Petersen comes up with "We were unable to find any users with matching criteria."
