Tim you caught some really good ones in 2018. Can you see a difference in your images of 2017/early 2018 and what you are accomplishing now? I do!
First off, Pat, thank you so much for your ongoing support and
kind comments. They mean so much!
As you may remember, I've been a "shutterbug" for over 60 years
and went from "snap shots" to studio work and wedding photography,
and then trying to capture all those special family moments.
To answer your question, I do feel my style has changed considerably
in the last year especially. Today, I really try to capture a different perspective,
try to double check my exposure, focus and composition. DSLRs do give you
the ability to instantly check your image, so with any luck, you can refocus,
recompose or whatever. But getting comfortable with my equipment AND
my style seem to be the best changes I've made over the last year.

A good many of pictures that I took this year are of birds, so I will save most of the best of these for my challenge later this month. However here are a few of the pictures I took this year that I am fond of....
Pg. 11 - Beautiful series, Kat. I can see why you
are fond of these!

I had been down a hill looking for a shot...
when I got back up to the truck,
this was staring me in the face...
I hope I did it justice...
Pg. 13 - Nicely done, Danersmiff. Love your perspective.

Well, I won't pretend these are contenders for "best" by any comparative technical standard, but they're recent, they're mine, and they're among my favorites for this year. From October this year, looking west across Longmont, CO from St. Vrain State Park near I-25 and CO 119.
Since these represent my first photo sharing, I should ask what the standard procedure among hoggers is. I see some photos "signaturized" but in high res and some in lower res. I'm guessing that's how most of you manage to ...uh... share while protecting. Not having managed any stamping procedure yet, I've just downsized these images. And made them downloadable as I have seen others do here. Is that appropriate practice? Asks the novice.
Well, I won't pretend these are contenders for &qu... (

Pg. 13 - Well, for a "novice," Whlsdn, you nailed this series! Beautifully
presented. I'm a sucker for sunrises and sunsets, and these are gorgeous.

I have many favorites, and am not 100% sure what would be my best. I'll post in categories I guess. Will have to go back and check out the posts. This post would be my favorite waterfall pics. Same falls, different times of day and year. #2 Earned a blue ribbon at Maine's largest Fair
Pg. 16 - Nice series, Pat. You've always presented
some beautiful images of water features, and I
especially love these. And #2 is my favorite and not
only would have gotten the blue ribbon from me, but
a "Best in Show" as well.
