I prefer the current format. I can quickly and easily peruse the titles in the various sections and click on what I believe will be of interest to me.

With the current version, I can rapidly look down the list and decide which I want to further peruse. Granted, some titles are vague/misleading, but all I have to do is quickly tap it and begin reading to determine if I want to continue.
In the new format, it will require a lot of scrolling just to see the titles, which will waste much more time. I found it to be slow and cumbersome.
Thank you for asking.

I agree completely for the same reasons. Old format please.

My vote would go to the format that presented the most postings when I open the Digest in the morning.

I wonder, would it be possible to group the entries by subsection? That way, if I wanted to see what was new in the way of Links and Resources, for example, I could just go to that subhead and view?

Yes. I'm working on it. The difficulty is in figuring out how to make the layout simple and intuitive. One way is to have tabs at the top of the digest's page "All|Main|Gallery|...". Right above the first topic. And if you click on that, you see topics only from that section.

The problem is we have many sections and some have really long names. A tab system like that won't fit on the screen and would look weird.

So I'm not yet sure how to go about that.

I much prefer the present format where photos are divided by category. It gives me a chance to look easily at a particular section of interest when there isn’t time to peruse the offerings. Moreover, the newer methods provided seem to lack organization, and that bothers me.

The old one will remain, but in addition to that we'll have the expanded format. It's basically a list of intro posts for each topic, one after another.

The new format is for people who prefer to scroll rather than scan headlines.

Here are some examples:

Please test it out send me any feedback you might have.
Thanks.

In general, I prefer the current format, although it would seem some further classification of subject matter would be useful.

A nice idea but I think a bit overdone in the samples you provide. That is, the title plus perhaps the first line or two of text would suffice - the amount of scrolling required to get a quick overview of topics when images are included as well makes for a more tedious experience

On the right track! I've always thought that the Gallery section should have a thumbnail version of the photo(s) to kinda stir the interest and direct the viewer to the enhanced photos and any accompanying stories.
