A couple of months ago I asked UHH members for suggestions for a day trip from Venice. I got some great suggestions including many for Padua - just a 40 minute train ride from Venice. We were not disappointed. It is lovely, easy to negotiate city with an efficient tram service serving all of the main sights, including the ancient market squares, Duomo and Baptistry (no cameras), Basilica of St Anthony (no cameras) and the spectacular 13th Century Scrovegni Chapel with its amazing Giotto frescoes.
Since folks were so generous with their suggestions, I thought I might share some of my pics from our day trip. Feel free to add your own pics, comments, memories or tidbits of Padua info.
Very interesting.
Thanks for taking us there.
Nice photos and great vacation memories for you.
