Had to say good-bye to my faithful friend and fur baby Grrr.

Loc: California
Our sweet 17 year old pup took a turn for the worse on the 20th, we had to let him go (one of the hardest things I have ever done). We stayed with him his last hour singing to him and soothing him until he was gone, it was the least we could do considering all the love he heaped on us! He was a true joy, a spirit of love and loyalty....we were truly blessed! <3

Sorry for your loss. Great set of photos documenting the love he received over his lifetime. Thanks for sharing them.
Saying goodbye to a friend, a true friend, brings nothing but treasured memories.
I'm so sorry for your loss. It looks like you will have many wonderful memories of your baby. Treasure them...........
I have gone through this a number of times. It is never easy because of the special, and reciprocal relationship we have with them. I cherish the memories of all my past furry companions, as I'm sure you do as well.
It looks like he gave joy to several generations! We're always sad when our pups pass on but we have many happy memories. Every once in awhile we find an old photo we had forgotten we had and smile with the memories.
Thanks for sharing yours.
As a dog lover, I still dream of my dogs now gone. They come to me wanting more attention. Dogs do add to the dimension of our life.
I am sorry for such a loss for you and your family. Hopefully the memories of the joy he brought soon brings far more smiles than tears.
So sorry for you loss, lovely pictures...
So sorry to hear about your lost! Your fur-baby looks to have a little westie in him. Nice pictures of him enjoying life. You where blessed to have him and to take good care of him.
A wonderful tribute to a loving friend. They capture your heart and add joy to your life.
So very sorry to hear of your loss. It is very difficult loosing our furry family.
Your Grrr looks like our Penny. She will be three years old next month and we have had her for two years. According to the shelter where we got her, she is a miniature poodle and bichon mix.
