Ditto for Mac laptops.
In Santa Barbara, the Best Buy lost 60 apple laptops. I gotta wonder, where's the bugler alarm?

Great place to do business! Online and stores in Ma, RI, NH and Me.

They have been good with price matching if found cheaper.

If the lights hadn't been left on in the store after closing, the robbers would have required significantly more than 60 seconds to gather up all that loot. Or they would have had to leave with a lot less merchandise in time to avoid capture. If the lights had been left on intentionally for sake of surveillance video, the video camera's location wasn't exactly ideal. No way able to capture faces. As we can see, the recorded footage can only reveal how it was done, not who did it. It appears at least one of the robbers was well acquainted with the store's merchandise layout. In other words, he/she has visited the store before. But no way to identify the robber from the video footage.

I suspect the folks in Manchester, NH have very little experience with burglaries and what can be done to prevent them. The robbers had it far too easy here!

Sorry to hear about that. Hunt's Photos are a well respected chain in the New England area with a reputation for honesty and 'paying back' to the photo community though sponsorships, lessons etc.

I heard from Gary Farber, one of the owners that it is happening all over the country with the smaller stores. The folks at Hunts, installed the video cameras in the Police station in Manchester. Hunts is in NH, MA and RI.

Yes Hunt is a great resource and I remember going to their big shows in Boston back in the 8o's.

Great company to do business with I purchased much of my Film Nikons and lens from them. F2's F3's.

They will survive this but it hurts their business and patrons as they probably lost stock that would have been sold at Christmas time.

Are you talking about their Goleta store? I don’t think there is a Best Buy in Santa Barbara.
