Sorry doesn't do anything for you, duplicate it. Don't forget snow and very large dog in about 10 degrees, waiting to see your results.

I'm certainly "jealous" of you having a Leica, however, it wouldn't work for me as I shoot mostly wildlife with a Nikon D500/Tamron 150-600mm G2, giving me a "reach of 900mm" at speeds of up to 10/fps. ..Your camera is GREAT as long as your subjects are not moving too fast!.. Leica has some incredible sharpness built into their lenses and the strength and reliability in their bodies to last a lifetime for a somewhat limited range of users with "deep pockets" who are not shooting sports or active wildlife!! I'm approaching age 75 as I write this, and My D500 could be my last camera, but if I could afford a D850 Nikon, I'd go for that full-framer in a heartbeat, as it is considered by it's users to be the best all-around camera that Nikon has ever made! And..Oh..YES.. I also have a D7000 converted to an infrared only DSLR..Now that we're in "stick-season" here in the Northeast, I must wait until spring to begin to maximize my use of that one until the "GREEN" returns!!....And..SEASON'S GREETINGS to ALL!!

I see video capability as a waste. I never use it but have to pay for it with a new camera. Same for flip-out viewer monitors. I do careful still photograph and need only those features and functions that serve this activity.

I certainly can appreciate what your expressing here. I've been using a Leica since I was 5 years old. It was either a Christmas or birthday present, I can't remember which. I recently acquired a Retina. The Leica was recently rebuilt. The Retina was recently purchased. My film camera population is way more than my digital population. I feel comfortable with either. Today's digital cameras provide more than what a camera requires. There are fans of those extras and the camera companies continue to come up with more in order to sell their products. On any of my cameras, the only settings that are important are ISO, shutter speed, and aperture. The rest is somewhat of a waste of money for me.

Yes Leica does make tilt shift lens but not for the Leica M. There is one at least for the Leica S.

If I had the coin, I might have a Leica, but I have what I consider a poor man’s Leica - the Fuji X-T2. Size is similar, if much lighter and high quality lenses. Is it a Leica, nope, it’s a Fuji, but it works for me as a travel/knocking around kit.
