In that time, I made a cruise to the Mediterranean, the North Atlantic, two to the Middle East, and several quick jaunts to the Caribbean. I've been going through some of my old photos (mostly 35mm slides), scanning them, and cleaning them up in Lightroom. Here's a few...

Loved the photos. My Navy time was 63-94, USN/USNR. Plane guarded the America off Viet Nam 1970, the only plane they lost was an A3 but the crew were rescued. Four paid vacations to Viet Nam, three to the IO of which two include the Persian Gulf and one to Australia. DD-845, DDG-31, DDG-14 and AD-43. I was an STG from 64-94, retired as an STGC. I've scanned all my slides but I'm currently in the process of copying them as NEFs on my Nikon gear.

Loved the pics. Makes me wish I had been Navy instead of Army 66-68.

Thank you for your service. A nice set of photos. I especially liked the second one with the S-3s on the elevator. I worked as a civilian aerospace engineer for the Navy for over 26 years and over half of it was doing in-service engineering on the S-3.
