To All My Vietnam Brothers and Sisters
The same back to you brother!
Appreciate y'alls service over there while I was stationed in Germany 66-67.
Merry Christmas to all Nam Vets and everyone that ever served! Thoughts go to my brother (RIP) wounded in Nam and died from toxic stuff he breathed over there. One thing I would change in the graphic would be to give the soldier a .50 cal weapon, since the bag is full of .50 cal ammo.
The same to you and to all Vietnam veterans. I was there 66-68 with Marine Helicopter Squadron, HMM-265. Like others, I would do it again and in my heart believe we should have been there. Merry Christmas to all brothers and sisters.

The difference being that the sisters shave and beautify often.
Merry Christmas to you and all the Vets. Thanks for posting the card.

We need to include those who were the backup to those on the ground in Viet Nam for their service in being prepared to be flown in to assist.
I was in a ready-strike unit 1969-71, always on one hour call to board C-130s to be in Nam within 24 hrs, to land shooting.
For the record, Viet Nam war was never declared by the US. It was fought under the aegis of the United Nations.
Best wishes to all who answered the call by their government during that time. Best wishes to their families who supported them.

I was there for two tours. Put me on the direct opposite side of your statement.
Ken Burns series very informative.
One night during the 1970 Christmas season in Viet Nam, while listening to Hanoi Hanna (she played better music than Armed Forces Radio) she interviewed a POW over the air. I will never forget his voice wishing a Merry Christmas to everyone and hoping that the war would be over soon so he could once again see his wife and children. I did not catch his name, but the emotion in his voice was real and from the heart, and it comes back and haunts me every year about this time. Hopefully that unknown soldier survived captivity and was able to go back home to his family. He is always mentioned in a Christmas prayer along with my thanks for being able to come home relatively unscathed.
Many thanks, and Merry Christmas to all Vietnam Vets!
To all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I don’t know why or how I skated but I did. I never got sent to Vietnam, in spite of having more than enough time left to do a tour when I came back from Okinawa and 2/9. They say God takes care of fools and drunks and I probably qualified on both counts at the time. To those of you who were there, for what you accomplished, what you endured, what you face today, you have my utmost, heartfelt respect and admiration. No matter what holiday you celebrate at this time of year, or if you celebrate none of them, may your days be joyous and peaceful.
