Took the sunset photo tour there last March. I had booked the date because there was going to be a full moon. I was unaware at the time that the shadow from west mitten would be cast on to east mitten that evening. Per our indian guide, it only happens twice a year for about 10 minutes each time. When the appointed time came the sky was overcast and no shadow. Five minutes later the sun peaked out of the clouds and we got to see the shadow for about 5 minutes before it disappeared. The moon is overexposed, but didn't want to try to blend two exposures.
