When I found out some time ago that John Wayne was a WWII draft dodger, I quit watching his movies. A WWII, Occupation of Germany, then Korean War vet, I cannot stomach selfish, lying draft dodgers. Finding out he purposely avoiding military service has led me to wondering that if he had served, his dead body might be lying in one of the tens of thousands of military graves around the world, and some military fellow's body who did serve selflessly might still be alive.

My favorites, in no specific order: Sands of Iwo Jima, The Quiet Man, The Searchers, Rooster Cogburn, She Wore a Yellow Ribbon, Fort Apache and maybe the best Western ever made, Red River.

Agree- Red River, best western. In Harms Way another great Wayne film

The Quiet Man was one of my favorites. A friend recently went to that part of Ireland, and they're still living off the fame of that movie.

Me? A leftie? LOL Five years military service during WWII, the Occupation of Germany, and finally the Korean War? What have you done mlitarily for my country, the USA? Afraid to acquaint yourself with the facts? If you ever graduate from that Kindergarten of mental acuity, pehaps some intelligence will peek through that peabrain of yours.
