They were quite proud to point out the height of the flood waters. We were supposed to get there aboard a Vantage Cruise but had to go by bus instead, the river was too low for the river cruiser. In fact the entire cruise was cancelled due to low water and we were bussed to Bratislava, Vienna and Budapest and flown home from Budapest. Had been scheduled to go all the way to Bucharest. NO GO!

Many thanks MT it is indeed a lovely city with plenty to see. I explored alone while my wife and daughter did their thing. Lots of photo ops.
