From one of the articles I did to research the share topic in For Your Consideration (August 2018):

Having an odd number of things in a composition means your eye and brain can't pair them up or group them easily. There's somehow always one thing left over, which keeps your eyes moving across the composition.

This image is over 50 years old, and was taken in Japan. It was film, but I am not sure which camera I used. I was experimenting with several cameras before I decided that Nikon was the brand for me.

Thanks for hosting Kat. This is an interesting challenge. A definite eye opener. I had to dig deep in the archives to find groups of odds other than ones.
