Hi! New to this site, but kinda excited about finding it. Iā€™ve always loved taking pictures, but about 2 years ago because of illness life slowed way down and I had majority of my memory taken from me. Slowly getting back into the swing of things and Iā€™ve discovered photography is a passion of mine, obviously from my past, so Iā€™m pursuing it further. Kind of nerve racking having something that u know u once loved, but canā€™t remember how to make good things happen without aggravating u enough to give up! Iā€™m hoping that I can learn from everyone here and maybe even have triggers that will give me flashbacks of an ā€œoh yeahā€ moment! I have an older camera, canon xti rebel, it works great but doesnā€™t do a lot of things some people have tried telling me about. But Iā€™m willing to work through that until I can trade up. I enjoy nature pics because I live on a farm with lots of room to roam and animals that love being my models! I canā€™t wait to see what this site has in store and what I can learn from it.

Go slow. Relearn things one day at a time. I have a friend who has been through this process, and the key thing is not getting frustrated when thing go slower than you had hoped.

Thank u! Thatā€™s all I can do right now...one day at a time. To much overwhelms me and I end up pushing it away. I want to take this slow so I can hopefully hang on to what Iā€™m learning and build on it. Iā€™m excited about finding this forum. The encouragement yā€™all share is wonderful!
