I am doing an on-line course on PS and Nix. The presenter's cursor is in a circular 'magnifying glass' which moves around the screen with the cursor - (see capture). I would like to use it, but can't figure out how to turn it on. Is it a PS thing or a Windows cursor thing? I would really appreciate if somebody could tell me how to turn it on and adjust it.
...type magnifier in start search...
Thank you Bill_de! I didn't know the magnifier was there. I can see again.
I think the magnifier shown in the screen shot is being generated by the software used to create the video.
I see, in a lot of video tutorials, various ways of highlighting the cursor to make it easier for the viewer to see what the presenter is doing.
OP here. Thanks for the tip on the magnifier in Windows. I tried it, but it seems a bit crude. I using Windows 7 and haven't figured out how to adjust it. It would be a nice feature to have in PS - maybe PS 2025? I sent a message to the tutor asking how he did it. I will share his response if I get one.
I heard back from the Tutor / Presenter. Rick was correct - it is part of the screen recording software. Pity, it is a nice feature.
For those who read messages just to get an ideas, in Capture One Pro, just click on the "Loupe" tool or just hit the "P" on your keyboard then every time you left click on any photo you will get the magnifier. Click on any other tool to stop that action.
(Sorry for the interruption.)
