Ceres the goddess of Agriculture was removed from the top of the Missouri State Capitol for renovation. She was placed on top of the Capitol nearly 94 years ago. Great article! Apparently details are hard to distinguish from her lofty perch based on the school children's confusion, lol! That patina she's wearing speaks of a long history. Glad the time and $$$ is being spent to restore her.
