Playing Around With Focus Stacking

Here are a few of the stacks that I have created today. The first two images were created by laying a sheet of glass on black material which can be clearly seen in the second image. Although I like the stack, I did not like the weave of the material. The third image is taken on a mirror with the room darkened. Much better result in my opinion. I also am only using the focus stacking feature in Photoshop CC. Try the downloads to see the differences better.

Nice work. I'd vote for the shot on the mirror, too! Very well done.

Thanks Randy. I posted an even better one today. I somehow got some color mixed in that I think enhances it.

I should send the stacked images to you and let you put some of your magic on them.

I (somehow) missed your first post. I see you have a coin from "Brasil" (as seen). I will take a look
to see if I find your post on "Active Topics" list.

Nice shots.

Yes, this set of coins is from several different countries like Peru, Zambia, Canada to name a few. These are just the ones I have cleaned up the best. Have collected them from friends as well as some of my travels. Makes for a fun photo now and again.
