If an alien society could cross space to visit earth they would be so far advanced just to have made the trip that when they talk about landing strips for aliens. So they have the technology to cross space at what would have to be in excess of the speed of light to make the time reasonable then they need a big long runway to land as if they were flying a B52?

Unless they were actually strip mining, not strip "landing", as debris on sides may indicate. That area of planet Earth is extremely rich in many rare elements. It is odd that so much apparent effort was put into that area, when just trying to survive there is a challenge. Why?

The debris is only the very top layer of ash and rocks that would normally be
strewn about and the layer visible in the stripes has just been uncovered by
scraping this top layer aside.......there is no mining in these stripes..and notice
how straight they are and are miles long..

The ridges/mountaintops that have been levelled are the so called landing strips.

If it were mining I would imagine that it would not be so precise in level as the minerals if followed would vary in depth not all in one perfect plane.
