I am so sorry about the disease the government gave you but I love your attitude. Keep up the good fight brother.

I also started my photography hobby in Viet Nam. I bought some sort of used "range finder" camera from another Marine for $50 and it actually had mold in the lens but I didn't know any better then. It still took good pictures. It has been my primary hobby ever since. Digital photography and printing renewed my interest when it came along. Fortunately I missed agent orange and only caught a little shrapnel . 52 years and counting with photography.

Thank you for your service.
I so enjoy your photographs of this war. They have historic value also.
My brother was in this war but I cannot find his photographs. He was also made ill by agent orange and came back a disturbed young man.
I find your advice to be wise.

All gave some, too many gave all. We are the lucky ones and we must keep the legacy of those who gave all alive and always to be remembered. We veterans are an elite group. Thanks for your contribution.

Thank You, for your fine written response, Waymond! Life will continue on. Let there be more peace and less hatred and help others if you can! AP

Like your choice of pictures you uploaded. It shows a positive frame of mind.

Personally, I've chosen to keep positive images of Asia-- particularly the little children and elderly (I was all over)

I celebrate Veterans Day with a NY Strip at Gene & Georgetti's, a bottle of Chianti, and 2 Macanudo Portofino cigars, which I am preparing to leave for right now

Excellent photos. The kiddo on the motorcycle is a long essay without words.

You made a fine point, Frjack, and Thanks for responding! I wonder at times, if that young boy is still with us. AP
