maggiemae as per your request...
This image was captured in defused sunlight with the 52" reflector held high above my lighting assistant's head.
He directed the sunlight directly down on this talent's face.... btw, it is rather easy to see how to "aim" the reflector by observing the illumination pattern on the subject...

Image Info:
Nikon D3x
Lens: AF 300mm f/2.8D (prime lens)
Aperture: 2.8
Shutter Speed: 1/2000
ISO: 400
WB: Auto

Hope this helps...

Having raised 3 sons, with my wife, we love your photos.

I also looked at your Flickr photos and really enjoyed your nature pics as well. You have a good eye and are proof positive that you dont need expensive gear to make great pics.

It's the indian, not the arrow. Well done maggiemae

My boys got haircuts today and I thought I would get some shots of them. Comments welcome. I really appreciate the advice I get on here. I think it really helps my photography. These were all taken handheld with natural light in my backyard. I need some new portraits of them and was hoping to get something printable. The two middle ones are my favorites.

They are cute as can be, maggiemae...great looking shots of them.
