Looking for some suggestions for instrumental or artists for sound tracks to put to landscape slide shows. What factors make for a good accompaniment?
My musical tastes are pretty well limited to Van Morrison and hits of the 60's and 70's. Looking for something a bit more contemporary but easy listening.

Interesting. I would have suggested something more natural and slow paced but then ... Van Morrison... why not? You have to increase the pace of the slide show but given todays attention span it could work. Full contact landscape slide show. Ha ha ha. Seriously. Do it. Go with your gut.

Dave Brubeck? (maybe “Take Five”?) Nothing wrong with Van Morrison BTW - I’ve specified that “Into the Mystic” be played at my funeral.

"The Gael" (them from Last of the Mohicans). I think it could be woven into a landscape slide show with very good results.

TriX’s idea of Brubeck is a nice choice. See also Eric Clapton, Etta James, Paul Simon and saxophonist Frank Morgan (“Mood Indigo”). Not sure Miles Davis, tho excellent, would blend well.
