[Little things annoy me.] quote
For sure! Little things have annoyed me all my adult life. Like my first wife, she was 5 ft 1/4 inches tall, annoyed the hell outta me! Divorce was the only cure. Then my second wife’s mother, 4 ft 9 inches tall, man was she ever annoying! Once again the only happiness came after the divorce. My wife now is 5 ft 9 inches tall and I am as happy as can be. Yup, it’s the little things in life that always annoyed me.

That's just a couple of the many annoyances I also find on the Internet. Annoyance No.1 = "hat" when it's obviously a baseball-type cap. No. 2: "guys" when there are gals present, too. No. 3: "out there" when what they're talking about couldn't be to distinguish from "in here." No. 4: "like" a useless word. Ex. "He spoke to me, like, several times before...."

About 2000 or 2001 a student walked past a teacher's office and saw an IBM Selectric typewriter on the desk. He stopped at my office to visit and asked, "Where did Dr. _____ get that neat word processor?" I don't think he had ever heard the word "typewriter."

Reporters that don't know the nomenclature of what they are reporting on whether it is aircraft accidents or whether they are talking about ammunition. They just can not get it right.

I hate it when people use present tense to discuss something that happened in the past. News people should know better. "He walks into the store, and then gets shot...".
