I'm looking for a Carbon Fiber Tripod. It needs it to be fairly compact in size (folded) and fairly light in weight. All this would depend on ratio of folded size to weight. Have a manfrotto 190 4(older model) and I love it but it's too bulky and a bit too heavy with the ball head I put on it.

I have a Feisol CT-3441 that I would sell for $275. It is in very good condition weighs in at 2.6lb and supports 44lb.
How much are you selling the Sirui for ?

And does the Feisol have a ball head?
It has a cb-30 feisol ball head. It's a basic head with a 1/4" thread. It has no quick release type plate.

Need to know more about your equipment (for size and weight) and price range. Also just the tripod or worth a head also?

Equipment is Sony A6300 with largest lens 70-200/f4 so I probably don't need a tripod for more than 12ish lbs just to be on the safe side. I had a Sirui rated for 8lbs and it was a bit too flimsy.
Price-I'd like to stay less than $350 and YES I need a head. Want a carbon fiber and want the weight to be under $3.50 lbs
Desmond and Dolica have reasonably inexpensive models which are ideal for traveling light and with good tripod techniques they support a dSLR camera and heavy lens. I have a cheap aluminum Dolica tripod that has served me well and a Desmond carbon fiber that has also been excellent.
Good luck with your search.
Annie, check out the Benro Carbon Fiber tripods with ball head on B&H website. Whatever your max weight of your camera and lens is the tripod should be rated twice that weight. I use a benro travel carbon tripod rated at 30 plus pounds and find it light very sturdy for my landscape photography.
I purchased a Neewer Carbon Fiber tripod recently from Amazon and I am delighted with it. I got the "upgraded" model for US $129.95. With ball head it weights 3.75 pounds.
I use a old Gitzo 1227 CF tripod and a Kirk BH-3 ball head and weighs almost nothing and holds my 200-500 w/D810 very easily. You should be able to find the 1227 or 1228 very easily on the internet.
