The bog in bloom is a beautiful sight, Sue, and I'm so glad you enjoyed these. Thank you so much.
Beautiful but deadly to bugs that get too close and then fall in.
Glad you like these, Cathy. Thanks so much.

Thank Donna and things are getting back to normal and hope you guys made it through the storm without damage. We thought about you and hoped that you guys are not too close to the panhandle part of the state. We had a tornado that uprooted or shredded a number of trees and damaged I think less than six houses with holes in their roof from wind and downed trees and also know of one deck pretty much destroyed, but no major damage or anyone injured that we know of!. We received the tornado warning from The TV and also a call from our County warning system telling us to take cover so we threw some junk out of an inside closet and all three jumped in!
We later learned that the tornado stayed on the ground for 1.8 miles and had destroyed about twenty some trees in a wooded area upstream from us before reaching our neighborhood, but we were so lucky and feel very sorry for those poor people down your way... I think that with help from our internet provider we have found a way to work around our disappearing replies as it seems like the problem at least so far only happens when I'm using Microsoft Edge, so am now typing this using Google Chrome and so far so good, as this is my first lengthy reply! We really loved your Pitcher plant Bog set and hope to hear some great news from you that all are ok and no damage was done! Take care!

Corky, it sounds like you did indeed have some damage your way not to speak of the harrowing experience of the tornado scare! I'm so glad you all made it through what could have been a disaster! Also glad you discovered the source of the problem with your disappearing replies. Everything having to do with computers can be frustrating, or they certainly are to me! We're about 185 miles away from Panama City, and we were on the 'dry' side of the storm, so we had no effects here other than a bit of flooding that quickly receded in the Mobile Bay/river delta area. The horrific destruction in the FL panhandle is heartbreaking to say the least. It's the worse disaster I've seen since Camille's path of destruction in '69. I'm so glad things are getting back to normal there, Corky, and I'm so glad you enjoyed the pitcher plant bog. I'm afraid it's over until next spring, but that's not even worth mentioning considering everything people are having to go through these days.

Hi Don! Glad you enjoyed. Thank you so much!
Tazzy, thank you so very much. I'm glad you enjoyed them. Bog doesn't sound very pretty, but the place is stunning especially this time of the year.
Donna, you've done it again. Beautiful images.

Hi Dave! So glad you enjoyed the bog! Thanks so very much!
All of those are spectacular! Beautifully done and I'd love to visit that bog. Are those all native?

Thank you so much, Victor! You'd love to visit this place, Victor, and yes, the plants are native. They do regular burns there to keep the bog healthy.
