Check out canhamcameras.com. They make ULF cameras of varying sizes. Excellent craftsmanship.

I have one I happily sell you but the shipping might be a killer. I believe it's 14x16 and I think it probably needs new track to run on. The only lens I have for it is a Apochromat Artar 14". The camera was built by R. R. Robertson of Chicago and originally sold by The California Ink Company. It has a double bellows that extend to a maximum of 25" and originally had about six feet of track to help move things easily. I do not have any film holders but they shouldn't be too difficult to make, a plastics shop with a CNC machine should be able to produce a couple without much difficulty. If you're really interested you can reply to me through this forum and I'll share additional information.

I would look at eBay. When I sold my 8x10 there was a lot of interest there. What are you using for film?

I have created images at places like Point Lobos, Big Sur, Venicia, Bella Roma, and a few other places all with my DEARDORFF 8x10. While I commonly carry smaller cameras [ HASSELBLAD 1000F, ANNIVERSARY GRAPHIC in 4x5 ], my Soul procliveates to my 'DORFF. There is nothing like working with an 8x10. I now am looking for a LARGE(er) camera that is 16x20. I am having a hard time finding cameras, lenses, holders, tripods, film developing tools, etc. Do any of this Forum's members have suggestions as to where such Photo-Juggernauts can be found for sale ? Baring this, does anyone know if plans are available for building / DIY my own ? Thank You

I admire and applaud the OP for diligence and dedication to the art. I am sure the results, as difficult as they are to obtain, are really worth the effort. I wish I had such dedication to the art. Three cheers to PhotoSonambulist!

P.S., I can't help but wonder if hare shirts, beds of nails and whips and chains are also part of the regimen.

I believe that you are in the wrong era. Or are you trying to be another Ansel Adams?

Used to run a 24x34" Brown line camera. Took up
a whole room. Had a vacuum back. Rotsa ruck to
you without a vacuum back :-( Have you thought
about giant photograms ?

Anywho, one source of large film is Graphic Arts
suppliers. You'll hafta figger out how to process it
for a usable grey scale, but you already did some
paper-to-paper, so I know you can manage that.

That much is obvious. But one cannot judge the value of
another's obsession. Squeezing quality images out of tiny
little cameras isn't a whole lot less of an obsession, but is
supported by giant consumer product manufacturers.

Chackun Assuh Goo !
