Welcome to the Goldwing owners group. At this time I don't have one but bought one in 1976, their second year of production. They were a great motorcycle then and still are. A riding buddy has the current model, quite revised from the previous edition, and raves about it. Happy riding and keep the rubber side down!
Thank you for the welcome. This is my third Goldwing; I had a 1998 GL1500SE, a 2013 GL1800B and now a 2018 GL1800D. Your riding buddy is quite correct, the 2017 is a from the ground up total redesign from the previous models. They redesigned the engine, making it a little smaller, more powerful and it gets better gas mileage. Pretty much everything changed, but it's still a Goldwing and that's what truly matters. I'm still getting use to it but I do like it a lot.
