I’m a buyer planner for work.we were in the same situation last week when we needed one no larger than 2gb for a Cnc machine. Tried all the local big box and office supply stores with no luck. Grainger had one for $135, found a package of 5 for $16 on Amazon. Good luck they are getting difficult to find.

On a side note, my brother-in-law, a millionaire, uses an old Kodak digital point and shoot. (Maybe that's why he's a millionaire) His camera will only work with a 2 gig SD card. Can't find one of them, either.[/quote]

Adortama has 2 GB SD cards.

Even though I swore I would never start a thread like this one, here it is. My wife has a sewing machine, (if you can call it that at a cost of about $12,000.00) that will create patterns loaded on to it via thumb drive. However, it will not take one larger than one gigabyte. She has tried linking it to her laptop with a usb cord, but that doesn't work.
In this age of more, more, more, where do I find a one gig drive?

Took me 15 seconds to find that info.

Ebay has small SD and memory sticks. Another gave a listing for memory sticks. Here is one for 2 GB SD cards.

Ebay is often a good choice for small stuff.

I am curious as to why your wife has a $12,000.00 sewing machine. Am I assuming correctly that she has a business use for it?

I also have 2-3 2gig sd cards, I bought at Walmart.

I repair sewing machines. You might try your wifes sewing machine dealer.
The hardware is what limits the size of the USB stick. An no you cannot add memory to them.

By the way the $12,000 machines are mid size. State of the are $20,000 list. An no, it may not be a business. Most do it for fun and gifts.

The most spectacular part of this is that the machine was a gift from our neighbor, who has three others. One of them being almost $20,000. And no, neither of them is in business.

I want to thank everyone for the input. While I was doing this, she quietly went on Amazon and bought a package of 5 for $15.00.
