These shots were taken in mid-June, 2018. All were shot with a NIKON 7100 camera, primarily using Nikon's 18-140 mm DX zoom. Additionally, a Tokina AT-X 116 Pro DX 11-16mm, f2.8 lens was used selectively. Mount Desert Island and throughout the Park are wonderful areas to shoot with a great shot no matter which way you turn. As a matter of fact, you have to restrain yourself from shooting for excessively long hours day-after-day by taking a step back and just enjoying the beautiful environment.

That's quite a nice tour you've given us, complete with a fitting close, a gorgeous sunset.
Thanks

All are excellent and the lighthouse is outstanding.
Outstanding series! Beautiful shots, well done!
Fantastic assortment, really captured the flavor. I haven't been back to Maine for 8+ years, so these are particularly special. I surely don't understand how you managed to get shots of both Sand Beach and the Bar Harbor Inn without
people in them, though!
Hi Imageal -- Your pix bring back so many great memories. There's so much to enjoy within short distances--Acadia National Park, Bass Harbor Lighthouse, etc. Your photos show that you have a good eye for capturing the scenes nicely. In addition to the fantastic views, I remember popovers at the Jordan Pond House on Long Pond at lunchtime, and waterfront views from the Bar Harbor Inn at dinnertime. Your pictures make me want to put Bah Hahbah on my calendar for next summer! Thanks for sharing your very nice pictures--PixieJackie
