Hanksville, Utah is rich in seldom seen landscape Photography and Burr Point overlooking the Dirty Devil River has always been one of my favorite vistas. A few photos from last weeks trip follow as an illustration of this magnificent canyon country. Burr Point is 15 miles south of Hanksville on Utah Highway 95 and 9 miles east on a graded BLM road suitable for automobiles.

These are beautiful. I'm envious of your sand shot. I've tried so many times to get a nice rippled sand shot, and they never work. Love this.

Very nice use of side-lighting. Did you try out your polarizer on any of these scenes?
