It is an observable fact that, when in the mountains, there is a particular elevation where the aspens turn into pines, and the deer turn into elk. But few are witness to these phenomenon phemenonen manifestations.

For my part in any of this, AzPicLady, I'm pleased you like the images. But I now wonder whether your sanity may be suspect..........

Years ago my nephew introduced me to his fiance as his "weird" aunt. I considered that a high compliment.

There is great clarity in all your images. What do you shoot with, if I may ask?

The images here were shot with my 'little' camera, a Nikon D5300, and one or another of my nothing special non-exotic Nikkors. Images I've posted in the past have been shot with either this camera, its bigger brother D7200, or a Nikon D610. Much more recently, a few of my posted images have been results from a Leitz Summitar mounted Fujifilm X-Pro100 (16.3 whole megapixels! woo-hoo!). Shot an image with that Fuji/Leica combo yesterday afternoon that literally Blew. Me. Away. with its sharpness and clarity. Regardless, ultra-sharpness and super-clarity is fine for a lot of things, but neither characteristic is quite what I'm looking for a lot of the time.
