Vikings in search of a kicker

After last Sunday's debacle where 3 kicks were bungled the Vikes fired the kicker. So the search is on. The following is one possibility.

Who can forget the 3 Stooges. Larry, Curly, and Moe. As for Field Goal Kickers, and the Extra Point. I have seen disasters in both college and pro football games. They never get their uniforms dirty. I remember the Buffalo Bills, who went to 4 straight Superbowls. Only to lose one of the 4, by a simple missed Field Goal. Buffalo has never returned to a Superbowl, after losing 4 in a row. Wow!

Sorry, about the 3 missed field goal attempts. Would have been a great come-from-behind for the Vikings.
Ahead by 8, the equally inept and stupid Packers didn't know how to kill time and force Vikings to use their time outs in the last 2 minutes of regular time.
Anyway, both ended up tie.
May be, this helps heal the pain.

The Cleveland Browns also had severe field goal kicking issues both last Sunday in the Super Dome (inexcusable and made field goals and extra points would have won the game) and the week before in the driving rain against the Steelers (game ended in a tie). The Steelers game conditions were horrible and both teams missed extra points and field goals so it was understandable. But the conditions in the Super Dome were ideal and all of the kicks were wide left. The Browns fired their kicker (errr released him) and have a new one going into this week. The stupid thing about the Browns kicking was that the extra points and 3 of the field goal attempts were inexcusable. They were all close enough to easily (for most amateur kickers) to make... the long 45 yarder was more understandable but still makeable.

I was wondering how long it would take to fire him. He even missed a 35 footer. Could have done better with a high school kicker. LOL

Criticize all you want, but I would like to see any of us kick a field goal with a ton of raging meat rushing at you. Sam Bradford threw at least 4 interceptions and stayed in the game.
