Skylum is promoting 2 products--Luminar and Aurora HDR.
Does anyone use both. I have Luminar. Is there any great advantage to also having Aurora?
Both are excellent products, I use them as filters in Photoshop CC. The advantage of Aurora HDR is if you do landscapes it can really make your images defined, but there can be a tendency to overdo the HDR.

I have Aurora, and it has been a good product. I just paid for the new Aurora 2019 when it is released. However, Skylum and I are working on an issue with my Aurora 2018. I installed the update which also had a connection to be installed in Lightroom.. so that I could easily export images to be converted to HDR in Aurora.. now my Aurora 2018 does not load at all.. however Lightroom still opens then attempts to open Aurora in the background. Skylum is attempting to help resolve the issue. I'd like to get it fixed before 2019 rolls out. That having been said, the Aurora product has been good.

Aurora can also be used to tone map a single image. It works well.
I only have Aurora because some clients think the HDR look is really cool. I bite my tongue and produce what they want.
