Has Anyone Here Done any Business with Greentoe?

It's one of these "name your own price" dealies ... tried to enter a bid ... but, when it went to the 2nd info page, it tumbled out, and was asked to redo it. After about three more tries with the same exact info, entered ... and the same thing happening, I gave up! ... Where are they, anyway? Anyone know?

I have used Greentoe several times. I also found the response to messages/emails was very quick.

I cannot answer your question but contact them for help. I have used the site several times with excellent results. I ignore the meter saying how likely my bid will succeed and low ball. Sometimes I win or someone counters with a significantly better price than on the open market. Either way, I win. Everything I bought had US warranties and was from well-known merchants.

I am not sure where they are located but can tell you I have used the their service twice without any problems. I have purchased two camera lenses through them and have gotten about a 25% discount when you include sales tax. The price you get through Greentoe is inclusive of sales tax.i would recommend their service.

I have purchased equipment on Greentoe twice and was rewarded with very good prices. The owner of Greentoe was quick in answering my questions and on one occasion asked me if I would like to revise a bid as it as much too low and there were no takers. When I followed his advice, my bid was accepted with still a considerable savings off of mfgrs. listed retail price. You have nothing to lose as all dealers who are affiliated with Greentoe sell USA equipment, brand new with OEM warranties. I got my Lumix gx85 for 100 bucks less than manufac. retail-$499.00 as opposed to $599.00 and tax was included as well as shipping.

I'll keep trying, then ... it was getting very frustrating!!! ... but, still ... kinda like Priceline - huh?

My offers have been accepted several times. I saved about $100-200 thru Greentoe. Most recent was a Tamron 150-600 lens. I saved about $150. I have several friends who have also bought photography gear thru Greentoe.
