Hi
Is there any way that my camera has a record of the actuations that it has experienced.
Thanks

Works with some cameras, all listed on the web page. Make sure to follow the instructions, UNEDITED photo must be used.

Should work on the Nikon D800

Lots more choices.

Get Irfanview (free) and also get the plug-ins for it. Start the program, open a photo, click on Image > Information > Exif info. Or you can just press I and/or E to get lots of info.
Get ExifInfo - also free. Unzip and get the icon onto the Desktop. Find a photo and drag it onto the icon. A window will open with loads of info. Look down the list for Shutter Count (or whatever they call it).

Over the years I have had a heck of a time trying to get the shutter counts on several of my Canon cameras. I've tried several programs none seem to work...Sent
my oldest camera into Canon for a cleaning and requested a shutter count. They provide the shutter count free. Sold the Camera last month and the first question from the buyer was "what is the shutter count"...at that point was able to honestly answer that question. The old 5D had over 98,000 clicks but had a clean bill of health. It sold.....

This works well for many Canon's and it's free
