Awesome Quiche!

Hello everyone! I haven't posted for quite awhile. Bought a new LG refrigerator French twin doors lower freezer, 36" wide 21cu' my old one was 30" some minor carpentry work needed to enlarge the old opening for my new LG fridge to slide into opening.

Photo 2 shows my 9" store bought pie crust pierced all over and dribbled with olive oil and brushed all over as well. Photo 3 shows my zucchini pasta buried with chunks of feta cheese and topped with three heavy table spoons of sour cream mixed well into veggies.

Photo 4 shows 5 lg eggs that I pulsed in my blender and poured over veggies then added heavy seasoning: Herb De Provence, Mediterranean Spiced Sea Salt Mix, crushed Black Pepper, Oregano, mixed well and scoped into pie crust photo 5 and added chopped scullions with sprinkled Cheddar Jack all over.

Photo 5 pie plate was placed into my preheated 375º toaster oven for 30 minutes. Then heat was lowered to 250º for 20 minutes door not opened. Photo 6 shows Quiche done and rested on counter covered with foil overnight.

Had a lot left over after filling pie tin . . .
Next morning I had a slice cold, I couldn't believe how good it was. I know now it's very tasty hot or cold!

Just a shot point of view on my new LG refrigerator. It is very well illuminated bright as can be, and so is the freezer. Makes no noise at all while on. Auto set freezer -0º, deep pull out freezer and full pull out shelve on top, regular fridge 37º. CIAO, AP

Hello Ched49, and welcome! Thank You for your observation and fine response. After research I have made on making Quiche, I will tell you, you can make a cook book on quiche alone.

Lets not forget this Wednesday August 15, it's Julia Child's birthday, born 1912, she would of been 111. She started French cooking in the United States of America!

Good to hear from you, foodie65! An important day is coming this Wednesday August 15, it's Julia Child's birthday she was born 1912 and would of been 111. I am putting together a b&w picture store of her and her husband Paul I did on assignment for Boston Today Magazine September 1978.

I should have it ready this Wednesday morning, hope you see it. CIAO, AP

In Julia's honor, I will be going to NYC with my grandson to see The Lion King. We'll be sure to drink to her legend (with soda pop, of course, since my grandson is only 13).
Good to hear from you; keep those recipes & photos coming.

Looks delish! The fridge looks like it is very functional. Hope it lasts for many years. Mine died after 31 years. Just can't get anything to last anymore, LOL.
Thanks for the new dish. I might try this one. Looking forward to your next venture.
