I had to look through two books, Angela but no they are different and yours is a Hairstreak and think it's a Grey Hairstreak, but there are many different Hairstereak species and wouldn't bet my life on it being the Gray!...Another hot morning and the grass needs cutting again but will have to think about it for a while!... Hope you guys have a great weekend!

Thanks for going through the trouble of looking that up... Corolyn knows her nature and she's really never wrong and then I'm usually always wrong when it comes to bugs!! lol...
Not so terrible here today but rain and more rain for the weekend!!
Take it slow today and the grass can wait until it gets cooler in the day.
Enjoy the day and weekend!!

What a wonderful garden full of life! Wish I could see it in person, but your great photos are just fine since I can't.

Many thanks, Dave... we love our garden with our eyes.... but the noise level living behind a busy road is a bit much, so we try and tune it out! lol....
Jim-Pop asked to see shots of my garden and I posted them on page 2 of this post, if you care to look... but if you are ever on LI, you are always welcome to stop by!!

Well, you have quite the green thumb! Must make nice solitude away from the hustle and bustle of LI.

Thank, Dave.... I must admit, I do have a green thumb... some of my houseplants are almost 40 years old and being with one with nature is a wonderful feeling!!
