Drinking rabbit

I live in Texas and it is very hot and dry now. I started placing a lid of water, under the bird feeder for the rabbits. Today I was able to get a picture of one of them drinking. The wild turkey also come everyday to drink from the bird baths and to eat the bird seed.

Nice that you think of the wildlife in the heat. And it looks like they appreciate your thoughtfulness! Nice pictures. I don't think I've ever seen a turkey and a palm tree in the same photo before. And with the flowers in the background, makes a nice shot.

Thank you. I have attached a family of turkey from this spring. Turkey are here every day to eat bird seed and drink from the bird baths. Picture was taken through the kitchen window.

We have 20 turkey in our yard every day. We have a few deer behind our property. I put some Nite guards on a pole that seem to keep the deer away at night.
We live in a gated community and the deer and the turkey are like pets.
