For all the folks who 'love' this sign, check back in with us when your wife, son, daughter or someone close to you is shot and killed by some idiot that managed to get a concealed weapon permit without any training in gun safety or common sense. Will you still 'love' it?

Conversely, check back with us when one of your loved ones is shot or assaulted because they weren't able to defend themselves.

Conversely, you can check back with us when a loved one of yours is shot and or assaulted because they weren't able to defend themselves!

Yes, Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore, NYC we lose more citizens to crime than in the current wars we are fighting.

Some FACTS you may be interested in: According to the CDC in a report from Feb of this year, the five states with the most incidents of gun violence were AK AL LA MS OK. The five states with the least were MA RI NY HI CT.

Statistics PROVE that the people who carry (legally) very rarely, if ever, get arrested for gun law violations. Very few are IDIOTS, like you. Just get yourself "up to date" on most of the FBI reports on this subject before you "run off at the mouth", please.

BTW, ALL concealed carriers have to be "certified" by either the state, or in some cases, by the Federal Government(s).

Do yourself a favor, just get yourself "up to date" on most of the FBI reports, as well as the documented studies on this subject before you "run off at the mouth", please.

BTW, ALL concealed carriers have to be "certified" by either the State or in some cases, by the Federal Government. This requires that they actually have to pass a written exam, as well as a "live shooting" test. I've been through that whole process (twice), one for Massachusetts, 30 years ago, and the latest one, 2002, here in Texas. You probably couldn't pass either one of them, eh ?

That is surprising, I'll have to check that out. It may depend on what is defined as an incident.

You might want to do some research on your statement about being "certified" to carry a concealed firearm. Several states recognize "constitutional right" to carry a firearm.

A thought to keep in mind. All these illegal guns that criminals buy 'on the street,' are sometimes guns that have been stolen from legal buyers...so to some extent the more guns that have been sold increase to 'potential' number of guns that will be stolen and sold on the street.

This is true! That's why responsible gun owners must properly secure their firearms when not in use. Many guns are stolen from vehicles so even though in some states it's legal to leave a gun in a vehicle it's not responsible to do so.

The Constitution says I have an individual right to carry

Serious question. Can you cite some examples?

Bear in mind that there are no border control stations when entering American cities. Anyone can buy guns in Indiana where gun laws are lax and just drive into Chicago.

I would like to know where you get the lax info. Gun sales are federally regulated other than waiting time to pick it up. Some states are stricter than others but if you are not an indiana resident you are not going to buy a legal gun in indiana.
