I finally made it back out to Steptoe Butte in eastern Washington. The last time I was there four years ago, it was so foggy we couldn't see ten feet in front of us! This time the weather was perfect and the view absolutely beautiful!! I know these shots have been done a million times, but, it's the first time I got to take them for myself

OUTSTANDING images. That place is on my bucket list.
Thank You!! If you can, try to go in the Spring when all the fields are colorful, and stay for the sunset! It's well worth the wait!

Yes, plan to go late May or early June.
Beautiful images! Brings back memories of traveling between Spokane and Pullman, Washington to attend Washington State University way back when.
Thanks for posting.

That first shot blows my socks off. vz

And I could look at your first image a million times and not get tired of it.
Hi, great area, just remember those rolling fields are wheat and wheat is a 2 year crop. Next year the green fields will be brown dirt....good news is, this years brown fields will be green! The scene is always changing.....GREAT shots by the way.👏
These are gorgeous...be proud of what you did....very nice work.
