Since I switched to Canon awhile back, I have some Nikon items I will let go for cheap!
I have a Freewave Fusion wireless shutter/flash/grouping remote by Vello for Nikon. This will work on most all Nikons. Without listing every single one, the D3 series, D300 series, D700, D90, D3100, D5000, D7000, D5100 will all work with this product. You will need the batteries for this setup. Comes with box and manual.
I will also throw in a Nikon D4 Cheat Sheet with this deal.

I have found that the handy little Vello units don't seem to care about camera make - that appears to be mostly in the attaching cord type (if you have noticed, they sell a whole bunch of different cords for all the make and model cameras). I have 3 different Vello Tr/Rec pairs, and they all work on all my Nikon and Sony Cameras (don't have a Canon DSLR, can't check), just change the cord. The cords are around $8 or $9 - cheap flexibility!!!
Thanks for the input. I can't believe someone hasn't jumped on this yet. Oh well!

I really like the little Vello's, they do good work, have decent range (even when I operate my cameras remote with RF picture/focus transmission to tablet/phone as well as control transmission for focus/shutter and or flash) as I have never exceeded their range, and from my experience with them, most of the compatibility appears to be in the cables (please don't take that as gospel) and the unit you have might be fine with the Canon gear and a diff. cable. And you can run several cameras with one transmitter at the same time.
Cheers!
I’m interested but on a camping trip and limiting my phone use until Tuesday. Is this the one that sells for around $100 new? Which nikon did you use it with? Thanks
