Bill, those were wonderful! It was very kind of you to post the original. They were so impressive, I thought they might even have been of birds in a display. You must be very good at creeping up on them. I really need to work on my stealth. I rarely get that close to the birds I hope to photograph.

Thanks Scotty. I have never found a way to sneak up on song birds. I let them come to me. I have 1 feeder (just an open tray) mounted on a stand that I can move around. The stand has flag pole holders attached so I can change the perch from time to time. All the pictures I posted here were taken within a couple of hours. I was sitting in a comfortable chair in my garage with the camera on a tripod shooting through an open window. There is a workbench in front of the window and a lot of the birds are used to seeing me there, Every once in a while one will land on the windowsill. When the weather is inviting I shoot from my front porch.
