Newbury Street, in Boston's Back Bay, is an eyeful for photographing urban architectural styles of the late 19th Century.
The area includes many high-end fashion shops, boutiques, galleries, and restaurants.
These are only a very few of a great many buildings styles and designs.
Beautiful architecture. Two things that would give your shots more impact.
1) Use a polarizing filter. That will reduce the reflected light and give even more vibrant colors. Your bricks will have a deeper red, awnings look less faded, and whites less washed out.
2) Crop your shots lower. Less sky and more street level. What makes neighborhoods includes the people, not just the buildings. Store fronts, sidewalk cafes, and pedestrians all add vibrancy to neighborhoods. If that was not your intent then I apologize.
Thanks for sharing, you do have some great shots.

Great. I lived not too far from there in the 60s, when JFK was President, at 122 S Beacon St. I remember the area well.

Thanks for your good suggestions. I used a small P & S so a polarizing filter cannot be used. Second, I tried to include people and store front, but the streets were crowed with large parked trucks and I was on the opposite sidewalk with a group of people who were moving quickly. I was not on a photo tour but, if I was, I would have more time using a DSLR and appropriate lenses.

S Beacon is another street with photo-stylish buildings.
